organized religion has been used in numerous negative ways (such as the justification of slaughter) but personal spirituality is all good, in fact, it's great. so, la.

Oh, I hope you do post that full rant one of these days. I'd be happy to read it. Even though I'm a complete hypocrite, and happen to sing in a church choir I just don't believe in anything, I do the singing - 's a weird little hobby of mine. But, I agree - it's the 'best excuse' mankind has ever used. Especially when it comes to the persecution of Jewish people, apparently because they killed the Christ. Right... [raises eyebrow] I can believe in the possibility that there might have been this Jesus Christ, but that he was the son of God? Isn't that just some Medievil monk copying Greek legends a little too much?
[Gets ready to be pelted with rotten fruit etc.] The hypocrisy of religion also amuses me. Christians are told to love their neighbours, but will then exile homosexuals and divorcees from the church. O.o Pardon me if that seems odd. [Shakes head.] Nope, religion is a silly little thing indeed, and I'm glad I'm too cynical to believe in anything. Besides, wouldn't I have been smited by now if there was a God? I've been badmouthing the guy enough over the last two paragraphs...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have you ever wondered what something meant as far as Photography goes? Things like "Cable Release", "AEB", "C-41", "Neutral density filter", and "Polarizer"? The photonotes.org Dictionary of Film and Digital Photography is one place to stop and get it all answered. This is quite a valuable resource that explains in depth what a photography term means, and will help those understand who might not know what something is.

Sorry if I offend at some point in time.

Sometimes I wonder if my karma wants me to suffer in amusing ways, just so I'm not allowed to complain to people without them laughing at me.
Zombies! Run!

If we had wisdom we'd have no need for words.
The full rant is way to complex, I might post it some day.

I think that's half the reason religion is as shitty as it is today.
Expected to go on pure faith, with no backing.
A miracle now and then would go a long ways....
As soon as I get a decent pic, I promise to post the entire rant, even if it turns out to be several pages.
